MOSAIC at AACR 2024: preliminary results and future outlook

MOSAIC featured in a panel session on machine learning and spatial biology

MOSAIC featured in a panel session on machine learning and spatial biology on Sunday 7th April at hashtag#AACR2024. The panel was chaired by CHUV's Raphael Gottardo, with the participation of Owkin’s Chief R&D Officer Jean-Philippe Vert, and Johns Hopkins'  Elana Fertig.

JP presented some exciting first results from the Owkin-led MOSAIC initiative to generate a multimodal spatial atlas of cancer on thousands of patients.

In his talk, JP explored the challenges and opportunities that spatial omics and AI can help us with:

📊 Boost the quality of the data

🔬 Augment 1000x the number of samples

🤖 Capture the complexity of multi-scale biology in data-driven AI foundation models

🧬 Use them to infer causal models of biology to ultimately accelerate drug discovery and development

MOSAIC is helping accelerate Owkin’s mission to understand complex biology and ensure every patient gets the right treatment.
